Team Spirit are world champions once again.
The Eastern European powerhouse defeated Team Vision (formerly PARIVISION, competing under a neutral tag at TI) 3-2 in the grand final of The International 2026, securing the organization's third Aegis of Champions. The five-game thriller capped off one of the most competitive editions of The International in recent years.
A championship decided in five games
The grand final lived up to the expectations, with both teams exchanging wins throughout the series before everything came down to a decisive Game 5.
Team Vision, who had defeated Spirit twice earlier in the tournament, pushed the eventual champions to the limit. However, Team Spirit delivered when it mattered most, completing the reverse storyline and lifting the Aegis after a 3-2 victory.
Team Spirit make history
With the victory, Team Spirit became the first organization in Dota 2 history to win The International three times, adding the 2026 title to their previous championships in 2021 and 2023.
The triumph also marked another historic milestone for several members of the roster:
Yatoro won his third The International title.
Collapse became a three-time TI champion.
Larl lifted the Aegis for the second time.
not me claimed the first TI title of his career.
rue also became a first-time The International champion.
Head coach Miposhka added another world championship to his legacy after returning to lead the team from behind the scenes.
Team Vision fall just short
Team Vision entered the event as one of the tournament favorites and delivered an outstanding performance throughout the competition.
Playing under a temporary name due to Valve's event branding rules, the roster reached the grand final after an impressive playoff run but ultimately fell one map short of the biggest title in Dota 2.
Another chapter in Team Spirit's legacy
From winning their first Aegis in 2021 to becoming the first organization with three The International titles, Team Spirit continue to define a generation of competitive Dota 2.
With a blend of experienced champions and new talent, the organization has once again proven why it remains the gold standard on the biggest stage in esports.
