Team Spirit offlaner Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov shared candid thoughts following the squad’s successful qualification for the playoffs at The International 2026. Speaking in an interview during the English broadcast of the tournament, the two-time TI champion addressed the mental and performance challenges the team faced in the later stages of the group stage.

“In the series against PARIVISION we were trampled into the ground. We then discussed it and decided that they are simply a stronger team, and we are still falling short. But at some point, it seems, we lost our confidence. It was visible in the series against Nigma and today. After the series against Nigma I generally wanted to die, to be honest. But today is a new day, so we wanted to try to do what we can.”

Team Spirit concluded the group stage with a 3-2 record. The squad suffered losses to PARIVISION (competing under the TEAM VISION name at the event) and Nigma Galaxy. In the subsequent elimination-round match, Collapse and his teammates overcame Team Resilience to secure their place in the playoffs.

The International 2026, also known as TI15, is being held from 13 to 23 August in Shanghai, China. The competing teams are contesting a prize pool exceeding $3 million, which continues to grow through sales of team and caster supporter bundles.
